Spare a smile for the twanti-toooo-year-old bhua of Comedy Nights with Kapil, while she amazes you with her charming spirit quoted with her harmless sense of humour. While Upasana Singh engrosses in a truthful conversation with The Tribune Life+Style, she explains on her up coming projects and reasons her special liking for comedy as she tells us about her fresh show, Total Nadaniyaan, where she will be seen in a whole new look!’

Talking about the show and her character, Upasana says, “Most of the T.V. shows typical mothers-in-law as a cruel woman draped in six yards of kanjeevaram saree and huge round tilaks. In Total Nadaniyaan, I will be portraying the role of a rather urban and more real mother- in- law.”

While affirming that the show has a component of comedy, the extension of which also reflects in her character, she shares that she enjoys playing the role of a mother-in-law, who lives in her fool’s paradise and that it’s quite entertaining for her to play that role too.

“I get my kink out of comedy and as the script of the show demanded of me to quote my foolishness and stupidity with heavy folds of confidence and self confidence, it makes a great fix for the whole show,” she says while mentioning a little about the story of the show also.
