Section 144 not applicable on Sirsa followers

Wow! as per Haryana’s Cabinet minsiter Ram Bilas Sharma, section 144 is not applicable on Dera Sirsa followers. So we have new kind of reservation now in India, rules applicable on specific community and not applicable on others. No doubt Dera chief is having support of all the major parties specially Punjab and Harayana, but this kind of statement by cabinet minister is ridiculous as no one is above the law. Dera openly supported BJP in Punjab elections and helped in state elections as well.

CBI court which about pronounce its decision on Dera Sacha Sauda surpremo Ram Rahim Singh, is fortified from all the sides, with heavy deployment of para military forces. Even 144 was enforced but actual implementation can not be seen there, as large number of people around two lacs entered Panchkula yesterday and are occupying main roads and round about of the city. No body is bothered about the law, and even police is not taking any action against the gathered group of Dera followers.

PIL was filled by one of the lawyer at Punjab and Harayana High courts, MR. Ravinder Singh, to fix the responsibility of the authorities , if something goes wrong because of non implementation of law and order in the city of Panchkula.

Ravinder singh told the media person that people of the city are terrorised by the presence of large number of Dera followers and they fear things may go out of control in the same way they went wrong while Jats were protesting for reservation in Haryana government jobs.

At the time Jatt protest, large number of properties both private and public were looted by the mob, many shops and other business establishments were burnt or destroyed and many lost their lives.

Punjab and Haryana High court has given very strict warning to the DGP of police, authorities of Haryana, that the situation like Jatt agitation should not be repeated again at any cost and loss of a single life will not be tolerated by the court.

his seems to be direct challenge for the Police department, which has imposed the 144 section and now it is not being implemented by the same police force. Dera followers and sitting on side of the roads for now, but what if they sit in the middle of the road in case the decision goes against their leader. Ram Rahim was engulfed by controversies many times, but he kept going, he even worked in half a dozen films and few songs as well, wearing different get up every time.
