Sikandar Singh Malook started religious punishment

Cabinet minister and senior Akali leader Sikandar singh Malooka started his religious punishment today at Golden temple , Amritsar. He was accused and sentence punishment by the highest authority of Sikhs , shri Akal Takht Sahib.

A special Ardas, which was distorted version of regular Sikh Ardas was performed at a function organised by Sikandar Singh Malooka, on the opening of new election office at his native place. A Ramayana path was performed and after which a distorted version of Ardas was performed which put the minister in tight spot.

Sikhs around the globe criticized the whole incident and accused Malooka of hurting Sikh sentiments. Akal takht chief called upon special meeting of all the takht heads and pronounced punishment to the Sikandar singh Malooka.

Minister started the religious punishment by washing utensils at Gurudwara, and then moved to cleaning shoes of the sangat. He also started Akhand path at shri Darbar Sahib as per punishment terms. He started performing services (SEWA) at Talwandi Sabo on Tuesday this week ,but he faced protest there by the people, who showed him black flags there.

He will be listening to Gurbani for the next three days and will also perform service (SEWA)
there for the next three days.
