A shop possession control lead to death of a youth in Batala

A youth died in a tuffle between two groups in Batala, District Gurdaspur. This fight was held on evening of 25th October, 2017, it was a verbal fight but later on converted into a bloody fight due to which a youth died.

According to reports, this fight held between 2 groups over possession control of a shop in market of Batala. Mohandeep Singh, a residence of Ram Bagh got injured in this bloody fight. After getting injured from a sharp weapon Mohandeep Singh was taken to Civil Hospital, Batala where he was declared dead.

Sucha Singh, DSP, Batala is investigating this matter. Family members are inconsolable condition after hearing news of death of Mohandeep Singh, due to which police investigation got on hold for some time.
