Grandmother killed her own grand children for superstitions

India is a country of many religions , faiths and beliefs. Right from ancient times people believe in superstitions and some still follow in India and ever around the world. Those who preach superstitions, generally want to use some techniques and perform rituals, in order to get rid of pain and problems they facing in their lives.

Though these rituals have no scientific base but people still go for them , as they are highly religious or have such customs being followed for centuries.

Sometimes the rituals performed are so dangerous that they take human lives and even of those who belong to their won family.

One such incident is reported from Bathinda in Punjab, where grandmother killed her own grand children just because of some superstitious ritual. The sacrifice was performed by killing two kids one boy and his sister. Amazingly father of kids was involved in the ritual of sacrificing kids.

Worse of all both the kids were beaten to death by their grand mother Nirmal kaur, the main accuse in the killing to achieve some super powers. Young boy named Ranjodh and his sister named Anamika were locked in the same room for sacrifice and met most brutal death given to them by their real father and grand mother.

They were electrocuted which turned out to be fatal for them. She even put broken glass pieces into their mouth as a part of ritual to bring them back to life, which is next to impossible, we know that.

Ill fated mother who protested and tried her best to save her kids , was beaten and locked in another room by the accused. Both the accused has been arrested by the police.

This is really unfortunate for our culture and nation, that on the one side we have reached Mars and on the other hand their are some illiterate and psychic people still living in our society.
