Is Code of Conduct being violated in Punjab?

There are two main organizations in Punjab, one is Supreme Court and other one is Election Commission Of Punjab. These two organizations play very important role during Elections as they play a role of backbone during Election time. Role of Election Commission is very important that it should take care of Elections that Elections should be held with loyalty that Election Commission should not take side of any party.

Main responsibilities of Election Commission is to take care of elections in very much strict way but this time Election Commission seems to be some lenient that after announcement of Code of Conduct, we can see that there are number of big holdings of every party are there either it is Sharomiani Akali Dal, Congress, AAM Admi Party, BSP . But as per code of conduct these holdings should not be on roads to do campaign. It is main responsibility of Election Commission that these boards should not be in city or either nor on highway.

To remove these holdings, Election Commission gives order to Minicipal Coorporation. But as such Minicipal Coorporation didnot get any order from Election Commission to get remove these campaign holdings. But in Patiala city there are number of boards which belong to Akali Party, Congress and even AAP.

There are number of news coming out that Election Commission is not working strictly. But it is responsibility to act very strictly to do fair elections. As Elections come after 5 years so people think that election should be fair. Behavior with every party should be equal. As these holdings should be down after Election Code of Conduct, but nothing happened like this.
