Kejriwal supports Gurmehar against ABVP

Ramjas college clash is moving to other cities as well. Yesterday two group of students from one from ABVP and other one from SFS, came face to face on the same issue in Punjab University Campus at Chandigarh.

ABVP leaders accused SFS leaders and students of clashing with them without any provocation , as they claimed to be protesting peacefully. ABVP leaders told that they were protesting against the incident that took place at Delhi in Ramjas college campus.

Gurmehar Kaur who is now center of whole issue, after she uploaded here video and photos against ABVP. Where as ABVP is getting support from their political party BJP, Gurmehar is getting support of opposition parties. AAP’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal openly came to support her and said that all the culprits who threatened her should be put behind the bars.

Gurmehar told the media yesterday that she is getting threatening calls for opposing AbVP. She even disclosed that people are threatening to rape her, so she has now moved from Delhi to Jalandhar, Punjab.

Gurmehar’s grand father , told the media person, that this issue should now be closed and we should work to cool it down now. He said student fighting and clashing with each other in Universities , which is not a healthy sign for our society.

Students should go to their respective college or university for studies not for fighting with each other. He appealed all the political parties to end this issue at the earliest, instead of politicizing the things and spoiling environment of the country.

Arvind Kejriwal said, that BJP’s minister of state Kiran rajijo, is not just BJP’s party leader , he is leader and minister of the country, so he should mind his tongue while giving any political statement.

He further said, government should arrest those responsible for raising anti national slogans in the universities. He alleged that BJP’s own cadres are spoiling environment in the education institutions and government will never dare to arrest them. He also demanded security for Gurmehar kaur.

On the other side another AAP’s leader, Bhagwant Mann , targeting BJP’s Amit shah, said there is not need get certificate from BJP office , to prove oneself nationalist or anti nationalist. He said that it is really shameful for all of us, that a daughter of a soldier who lay down his life for nation, is being threatened by ABVP goondas and are declaring here anti national.
