Thieves caught and punished by public in Amritsar

Two thieves were caught by the alert victim, and then thrashed by public to teach them a lesson. Incident took place in the city of Amritsar, where two iron smiths who are expert in mending locks were called upon by a the victim to his house.

Victim need to get a key repaired for his bike, but the clever thieves convinced him to give them the key of the almira, which they pretend to be used for repairing bike’s lock.

On finding right opportunity gang of two , manage to get valuables in the almira but were caught on the spot by the alert vicitm , who is residing in Indira Nagar of Amritsar.

Victim and eyewitness Harman told the media persons that they manage to grab twenty to twenty five thousands in currency and some jewelry lying the cupboard. He told the media that they asked for cupboard keys to repair bike keys and then started repairing cupboard lock on the pretest that it is not working properly.

After getting money and jewelry they try to escape and run away from the scene, but Harman ran behind to caught them with the help of passerby’s. Then public punished them by thrashing them, after tying them the electricity pole. Two thieves were relieved when a constable who was passing from the scene, was called upon by the public , which by the time was tired of beating and thrashing the thieves. Constable finally took them away to police station.
